phone with them they told me I needed a new battery. They told me they would sell me one for $325.00! So the way I see it is that they tried to charge me $180.00 for their flat fee plus $325.00 for a battery, it seemed to me that they were trying to charge me over $500.00 for a battery. I am an old man who lives on a very limited fixed income. I know my car is beat up, and I don't need a computer printout to tell me that. And I cannot afford $190.00 for a machine to tell me what to fix on my old car. I know what is critical to fix on my old car. But you have your procedure, OK. Please tell me I am mistaken about the charges. I picked up my car on Friday because I had been without it for two days and needed to use it over the weekend. I paid your shop $190.00 for a vehicle inspection I didn't really want. Please tell me I can apply that payment to work that needs to be done. I might even buy that battery from you (it had better be a damn good battery for over $300.00) if we can apply that $190.00, or a portion thereof, to the batteries purchase price. Maybe that is what you were trying to say, and I misunderstood. I hope so. I believe all I am asking is to be treated fairly.
