The Wayside Garage folk are stellar—friendly, honest, and competent. I took my aging (2001, 380K mi) Honda Insight to them for a check engine light problem. And although the code said the catalytic converter was malfunctioning, they advised that the engine itself might be the root problem. (No need to just replace the cat if it's the engine.) So they ran compression and leak tests—both passed—before giving me the bad news about replacing the converters (didn't know there were two): OEM converters are no longer available, and aftermarket require welding. Although I haven't yet decided whether to have the work done or finally buy a new car, if it's the former, I'll have Wayside do it. Yes, I definitely recommend them.
