I am appalled that a company would prey upon the general customer by charging $150 for the exact same part I found on line for $27. Furthermore I was told they’re hourly shop rate changes depending on what they’re working on. Huh? I also read on auto forums that changing out a particular part takes about 15 minutes. Unfortunately I was charged $175 for the removal of the same part. I hope you sleep well. Unconscionable. I will relay this to anyone I know that even mentions coming to you for service or repairs. The quality of work is excellent. The folks at Wayside Garage are extremely detailed oriented, and thorough. Where I feel Wayside Garage separates itself from other repair shops is in their customer service. They are extremely engaging with their clients from the office staff to the service technicians. I've never work with a more polite, and engaging service organization in the auto repair field. Stacey, and her staff have set a standard that is unmatched by any other repair shop on the peninsula. They thoroughly went over my car from bumper to bumper, and did a comprehensive evaluation of my vehicle. Once the initial valuation of my car was completed they then went in, and diagnosed the issue that I brought the car in for. Once that investigation was completed by the technical staff I received a call from Stacey explaining the details of the investigation, and the needed repairs. It's never easy dealing with time consuming, and costly auto repairs. I'm glad the folks at Wayside Garage was able to make the necessary repairs needed for my vehicle. I highly recommend the folks at Wayside Garage. Lastly, I just want to thank Stacey for assuring me at our initial meeting that she would get to the bottom of my issue, and get it repaired. I was very satisfied with the service I received Wayside Garage! Everyone I spoke with was very friendly, polite and professional. Their concierge service was amazing, as my wife and I only have one car, they came to our residence in the morning to pick up our car, and returned the car later that same day when they were done with the oil change. In addition to the oil change, they inspected all other fluids, hoses belts, brakes and tires. They're a digital shop, so when they were done with the work they sent me a whole report with pictures of everything they inspected. I got some other quotes from other shops in the area before selecting Wayside, and Wayside Garage is price competitive with oil changes. They also accommodate multiple forms of payment: check, credit and Venmo. I look forward to having our car serviced at Wayside Garage in the future, and would highly recommend to friends and family.
