Friendly and professional attitude from every employee! I was very pleased with the service advisor and technician's explanation of each step. They went out of their way to accommodate me when I had to take my car elsewhere for a repair and then return to Wayside. Kudos!

Excellent. My car is always well taken care of at Wayside, and so am I!

No, I unfortunately would not recommend Wayside Garage. I recently brought my car in for a number of issues, and after an extensive phone conversation about the work I wanted performed with Stacey, I was confident in bringing my car in. I had another conversation with Sabrina upon bringing my car in, reviewing the work that was supposed to be performed on the vehicle. I had to reiterate a number of issues that I needed to be looked at that did not make it into the system--I had just driven my car down from Alaska, putting approximately 4000 miles on it. I needed an oil change, a "post-trip" inspection because my check engine light was on, the lightbulb in my dash replaced (with it out, I cannot see my speed or my fuel level at night), as well as asking whether or not the technician thought my vehicle would pass a smog test (since you aren't currently performing smog checks, I was just asking for an indication as to whether it might be worth it or not). I was told that the cost estimate for this was $275, though that was including a high estimate for labor, and the total would likely be lower, not higher. I dropped my car off early on a Friday, and was notified at around 4PM later that day that the vehicle needed to be kept over the weekend, so that it could be looked at on Monday. I understand that these things happen, but it was mightily inconvenient to be without my vehicle for an additional 3 days--had I known this was the case, I would have been far less likely to schedule an appointment on a Friday. From what I gather, the labor to check my engine codes was extensive. I received a full report of everything that was wrong with my car, and the problems that would make it unlikely to pass a smog check--which would cost a significant amount of money for me to repair. My oil was serviced and my fluids changed, which was great. However, the service bulb was not replaced, nor was it looked at. I believe this must have been a miscommunication between Sabrina and I when I dropped the car off, however it is supremely frustrating that this item never made it onto my work order, considering it had been communicated to Stacey in my initial phone call, and to Sabrina at the time I dropped off my vehicle. In the end, I was charged the full $275, presumably for labor figuring out what was causing my check engine light to go off. However, when I told Stacey that the dashboard bulb light was overlooked, she told me that it would be roughly $200, and I would need to make another appointment the following week. When I elucidated her as to the above information, she said she would check on the issue, and get back to me. It's been a week, and I've heard nothing. I have too much to do right now to continue to chase Wayside over this issue, but I'm extremely disappointed in this service. I paid the maximum amount that was authorized to charge me for the work being performed, however, not all of the work WAS actually performed. Stacey and Sabrina were both extremely helpful in their interactions with me, however, in the end, the work that I needed to be performed on my vehicle was NOT performed, and I was charged the maximum amount for it. This has been extremely frustrating and disappointing--I do not want to be conflictual with Wayside over this issue, but I cannot in good faith recommend their services after this experience, especially after being sent MULTIPLE followup requests to review their services.

They are the Best on the Peninsula.

The communication from Wayside is above and beyond anything I've ever experienced from an auto shop before. From text and email updates to photos showing what needed to be repaired and what was, there was little question as to why they recommended what they did. Car repairs are a pain no matter what so service is always what will set a business apart. Will definitely go back if I need other repairs.
