I recently to Wayside Garage to get a noise in my car checked out. The front counter people were super nice and knowledgeable. But I worked with a gentleman by the name of Myles. He was so patient with me and all my questions. He explained where the noise was coming from and what my options were. It ended up being my tires and brakes. I was pressed for time as I had to pick up my kids from school. He gave me an estimated time of 3-4 hours and that would put me right up to when school gets out. He ended up texting me 2.5hrs after letting me know my car was ready. I was able to get to the grocery store and then pick up my kids on time. Thanks Myles. I’ll be back to get wheel alignment in a few days. I hope Myles works on my car again. He was so helpful!

i have a plumbing company and went on vacation. wayside picked up my Chevy 2500 pickup truck, did an oil and filter service, and delivered it back for me. such and awesome and convenient service at a great price. they also washed it for me. thank you to Sabrina the service manager and Hung my technician. I will definitely be back and tell all my friends and family.

I’ve own a business in Stockton, Waterloo Ca Restaurant for more than 40 years and have been blessed to move to Carmel 4 years ago therefore I know all about our customer and the service they deserve,….good food, reasonable price and great service. This formula I found at Wayside Motors,…. knowledgeable, reasonable price and great service. I was having a horrific experience with DMV getting my 1976 Datsun 280Z with a Special Construction Fiberglass Ferrari 250 GTO body Smogged and after 3 weeks with CHP, Sequence #, and many hours with DMV received the final step of a required “Brake and Lamp” certification to register my car which depending on the County you live in the requirements are different. I got an appointment with Wayside Garage and being my car is almost 50 years old there was considerable problems from brakes, faulty wiring, hand brake not working, front end tie rods shot, lites not grounded properly, lites not working, poor idling and fuel mixture ….etc just a host of problems. After a week of sorting through, ordering the hard to find parts my precious car was ready. In the more 4 years of owning this relic it has never, NEVER RUN BETTER. I owe this to Alan, the technician, the professional, courteous, answer all questions with knowledge for a layman to understand and does it with smile. He’s the Best and I would not hesitate to have any of my vehicles serviced by him. Not only must I compliment Alan but the entire staff is very professional and Sabrina certainly deserves some accolades for her sincere concern that all your needs are met.

This is a bit overdue... Two years ago, my wife and I were half way into an extended roadtrip and discovered in Redding we had no air conditioning (didn't know; we are from Alaska and hadn't ever used it). Redding was at 112 degrees F and we decided to get to the coast to reevaluate the trip. After a few days of mulling about in Monterey, we called Wayside and left a message explaining out situation. The owner, Stacey, returned our call and was able to get us into the shop first thing the next morning (which was incredible, that doesn't happen where we live...). We figured the trip was over because the A/C in the van hadn't been used for decades. Nevertheless, they fixed it! We drove down the coast to Big Sur with the A/C cranked, basking in the joy of knowing our trip had been resurrected by Wayside. Still a treasured memory. The story doesn't end there, though. In Yosemite, we had transmission issues. Devastated by another vehicle issue, and being far from home, we had no idea what to do. We bashfully called Stacey. Weird, I know. But we didn't know what to do. Stacey advised us not to drive the 5 hours back to the beloved Wayside garage and asked if she could call right back. She did so, and let us know she had called around and found a garage nearby that, although booked several weeks out, would take us in first thing the next morning. We did, and yet again the trip was resurrected. The service at Wayside was exceptional and Stacey went far beyond typical customer service to look out for us when she had no obligation to do so. This is a wonderful business with wonderful ownership. Thank you Stacey!
